May 8, 2026
Dear Parent/Guardian:
On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, Excelsior Preparatory High School will be hosting our Culture Day event. We will learn about the history, heritage, ethos, and customs of the cultures that are represented in our school community. On this day, the Excelsior Family will enjoy cuisine from diverse cultures.
In order to make this event a success, we are asking students to contribute a food item that gives us a taste of your culture.
When submitting your food item on Culture Day, please take note of the following:
1. Food must be in a disposable dish. All food containers will be disposed of at the end of the event.
2. Food items must be labeled. It must include: Student name, the name of the food item, and any ingredients that people may be allergic to.
3. Bring enough of your contribution to feed a class of 35 people.
Students are required to drop off their contribution in the main lobby before 8:00 am and follow normal entry protocol. Parents may drop off contributions in the main lobby between the hours of 8 am to 10 am.
Thank you in advance for your contribution!
Warm regards,
Rodney Orji
Principal
