Happy New Year Queens South High Schools! We are ready for the second half of the school year as we prepare for our #SeedsofExcellence to blossom.
The Big Apple Awards (BAA) nomination process for the upcoming cohort of Fellows for the 2023–24 school year is now open through February 28. All members of the school community (including families, students, and community-based organizations) are invited to nominate a teacher for the Big Apple Award.
The NYC Kids RISE Save for College Program is a scholarship and savings program designed to make college and career training more accessible for all NYC public school students regardless of family income or immigration status. Through the Program, every eligible student enrolled in an NYC public school automatically receives an NYC Scholarship Account with an initial $100 allocation on their behalf.
At approximately 9:15 today, students from our campus walked out of the building in protest of the proposed co-location of a Kindergarten through 4th grade Success Academy charter school. This action was planned by students and parents and was not sanctioned by the teachers or administrators of this campus.
Students in NYC DOE schools that are using the new NYC DOE Grades application will be able to view their courses, assignments, and assignment grades in TeachHub. Families view that information using the NYCSA portal. To access these new features, please follow the steps below.
