Proposed Opening and Co-location of a P752Q in the Springfield Campus

On February 26, 2024, the Office of District Planning posted a proposal to open and co-locate a new high school site of existing multi-sited District 75 school, Queens Transition Center (75Q752), to be called P752Q@Q420, in building Q420 in the 2024-2025 school year.

The Joint Public Hearing (JPH) for this proposal will be held via teleconference on Tuesday, April 2 at 6 p.m. at https://learndoe.org/districtplanning.

The NYCDOE is proposing to open and co-locate P752Q@Q420 with Queens Prep, Excelsior, Carver, and PAW in Q420. A co-location means that two or more schools are located in the same building and may share common spaces, such as auditoriums, gymnasiums, libraries, and cafeterias. District 75 provides citywide educational, vocational, and behavior support programs for students who are on the autism spectrum, have significant cognitive delays, are severely emotionally challenged, are sensory impaired and/or have multiple disabilities.
