You can sign up to speak at the Joint Public Hearing starting at 5:30 p.m. Speaker sign-up will close 15 minutes after the hearing begins.
How the JPH will proceed:
• Make sure your equipment works with the tech-check link above
• If you are going to speak, sign-up opens at 5:30pm and closes at 6:15pm. Speakers will be given the opportunity to speak in the order that they sign-up
• Each speaker will be given 2 minutes to speak.
• The Hearing will begin promptly at 6:00pm and will be recorded.
• There will be a statement read including information from the Educational Impact Statement (EIS).
• Since it is a Joint Public Hearing, any member of the schools’ SLT will be allowed to speak first (unlimited time).
• They may then turn to school-aged children before turning to elected officials.
• They will then turn to the rest of the general public for comments.
• Speakers will be placed in the order that they sign-up.
• The hearing will continue until the last speaker present speaks.
