Excelsior Preparatory High School, a collaborative college preparatory learning community, offers a challenging academic curriculum dedicated to developing students' science, math, critical reading and technical writing skills. We are a small high school locally considered a gem in Southeast Queens. All students are expected to take four years of math, English, and science in order to be college-ready. We are affiliated with the Gateway Institute for Pre-College Education a STEM program which provides comprehensive early college exposure for select students in each cohort.
